Easy! I’m a woman film director! Okay, I’m not famous, but we are out there!!!! That is a gooooood question and I’m glad you asked! Women were huge in the film industry at one point but then after 1934 the Hays Code kicked in and has been very damaging. Well, there are some pains in the a**es like me out there. Take a look at TCM sometime they have a whole series of films on women like Greta Garbo, Bette Davis, Joan Crawford, etc. These women did not take alot of crap from anyone.

It’s actually not as bad as I probably made it sound; the carpets are removable ones I use, and only certain parts of them got wet. But you’re right – this ain’t my house, and dealing with cracked foundations is an issue for the landlord.

Dude,

Call your landlord re: leaky basement if you haven’t already. You shouldn’t have to do anything to deal with his/ her broken-a** house.

Bryce! I did not know you had a blog! I found it through a friend of a friends! I am glad your blog is turning more towards happier tidings! I find that life is too short to be widdling our time away with worries (although I do a good share of that too) and angst. Good reading I enjoyed the few posts I read!

Take away the awesome catalog of music. Take away the long touring schedule of arenas or better. Take away the intelligence of the music. Take away some of the creativity. Take away the rabid fan base that stretches across generations. You got Styx. Styx is the Holiday Inn Band and Rush is the Ritz.

I think you’re absolutely wrong on that one. Listen to Leave That Thing Alone, and tell me that sounds like Styx. I like Styx, but Styx is nowhere near as good. Also, I don’t think anything about Rush sounds remotely like Styx except maybe Geddy’s voice.
